Community meeting: stop unfair SMUD solar fees, permanently

SMUD rescinded their proposal for a solar fee. Now SMUD is stepping back to determine next steps. That's good, but lots could still go wrong if solar users don't stay engaged.

Let's get organized. This community meeting is open to all SMUD ratepayers. Light refreshments will be served and children are welcome.

Our guest speaker is former SMUD Director Ed Smeloff. Drawing on his deep expertise from the inside of SMUD, Ed will outline how SMUD could go from punishing solar to encouraging solar, and become the "utility of the future".

We'll then have a community-led discussion on how we, the grassroots, can ensure SMUD promotes, rather than punishes solar.

This event is being co-sponsored with Vote Solar. Thank you!
