Let's show up in force for solar rights on April 10th

Public hearing and vote on the Solar Bill of Rights (SB 288) by the Senate Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee of the state Legislature. If a seven or more of the thirteen members of this panel vote yes, the bill advances. If not, the bill is dead.

We don't want travel costs to prevent you from exercising your rights as a citizen. We will cover up to $200 in travel costs for the first twenty people who RSVP. We will let you know if you are among the first twenty. Save your receipts and give it to us when you come, and we'll reimburse you. This will cover personal car gas, train, bus and airfare only.

1) Show up. Lawmakers are more likely to vote yes when they see public interest.

2) Briefly speak. You will have a turn to stand up and say you support the Solar Bill of Rights. Very simple and short, and very powerful.

3) Visit briefly with your state Senator and Assemblymember's offices. We'll take you around the Capitol.
